Artistic Guitars is proud to be working with McPherson Guitars. McPherson Guitars revolutionized the acoustic guitar world more than three decades ago with unique Offset Soundhole Technology. By moving the elliptical soundhole to a very specific position on the guitar's face, acoustic surface vibration was maximized thereby increasing resonance and sustain.
McPherson Guitars also have significant innovation in their neck design, from the cantilevered neck, not in contact with the top of the guitar, to the massive carbon graphite truss rod which increases stiffness and stability, to the 45 degree neck brace. The result offers unmatched neck stability and inhibits the potential for warpage or movement due to temperature and humidity variations. McPherson's third major innovation comes from their State-of-the-Art bracing. Through the use of a network of laminated braces, the vibating area inside the guitar's top plate is maximized. These innovations with the finest tonewoods and workmanship result is an instrument which rings like no other, and plays like a dream.
All McPherson guitars are 4" deep at the neck block, but range from 3-5" at the tail block. 3" guitars will have quicker response with more projection while 5" guitars will gain warmth and resonance. Guitars selections include the size, the top wood, and the sides / back wood.
